Certification Reviewer

Location: Sri Lanka (Colombo – Office-based), India or Bangladesh (Remote)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive, organised, and detail-oriented Certification Reviewer to support end-to-end certification activities within our sustainability certification operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of certification decisions.

Candidates with experience in the textile and apparel sector will be given priority.

Key Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
  • Review client applications and supporting documentation for contracting and certification approval.
  • Evaluate pre-audit documentation, including system plans, product specifications, and scope details.
  • Review audit reports, non-conformities, and clients’ corrective action plans for technical adequacy and compliance.
  • Coordinate with auditors and provide technical clarification on certification and accreditation requirements.
  • Communicate with clients and audit teams to resolve discrepancies and obtain missing or unclear information.
  • Ensure accurate and timely issuance of Scope Certificates and related certification documents in line with accreditation norms.
  • Maintain organised digital and physical records of all Scope Certificates (SCs) and certification files.
Additional & Periodic Responsibilities
  • Support the Certifier and QA In-charge during internal and external audits by preparing and managing required documentation.
  • Assist in implementing updates to standards, operational manuals, and certification procedures.
  • Conduct or support training sessions for auditors, reviewers, and support staff on certification schemes and processes.
  • Participate in risk assessments and contribute to identifying training and competency development needs.
  • Prepare periodic operational, compliance, and performance reports, highlighting opportunities for process improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree or Diploma in Textile Engineering/Technology, Apparel Production, Clothing Technology, or Garment Manufacturing (strongly preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in certification compliance, sustainability auditing, textile/apparel manufacturing, or related documentation roles.
  • Strong understanding of textile production processes, material traceability, mass balance, and subcontracting practices.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and online certification or audit management platforms.

Transaction Certificate (TC) Coordinator

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive, organised, and detail-oriented Transaction Certificate (TC) Coordinator to support end-to-end Transaction Certification activities within our sustainability certification operations. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of the TC process across multiple certification schemes.

Key Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the preparation and submission of Transaction Certificate (TC) applications through the Clean Globe portal.
  • Collect and perform preliminary checks on supporting documents, including purchase and sales invoices, packing lists, goods received notes, shipping documents, other commercial documents, and volume reconciliation reports.
  • Liaise with internal teams and clients to clarify discrepancies or gaps in TC applications.
  • Track TC workflow status (submitted, pending, clarification required, approved) and proactively follow up to avoid delays.
  • Maintain well-organised digital and physical filing systems for all TCs and related documentation.
Periodic / Additional Responsibilities
  • Support the Certifier and QA In-charge during internal and external audits by preparing TC-related documentation.
  • Provide basic training and guidance to TC Assistants or newly onboarded team members on TC documentation and processes.
  • Assist the Certifier and TC Reviewer in improving TC workflows and resolving documentation-related challenges.
  • Prepare simple progress reports and highlight bottlenecks or risks within the TC process.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma/ certification in Textiles, Supply Chain / Logistics, Commerce, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Transaction Certificate handling, export commercial documentation, or a related role within the textile/apparel sector.
  • Basic understanding of textile production flows, supply chain documentation, and ERP or online certification systems.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and online portals.

Accounts Assistant

Position Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Account Assistant to support our finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will manage daily accounting transactions, assist with reconciliations, and ensure accurate record-keeping in compliance with internal policies and accounting standards. This role requires effective coordination with internal teams to ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and financial reports.

Key Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Record and process daily financial transactions (invoices, payments, receipts).
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable operations.
  • Prepare basic financial reports and summaries.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely approvals and processing.
Periodic/Additional Responsibilities:
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Support audit preparations and provide required documentation.
  • Help implement and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
  • Prepare periodic financial reports for management review.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Graduate or undergraduate in Accounting, Finance, or B.Com from a reputed university or institute, or
  • Partly qualified in AAT, CMA, ICASL, or ACCA.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
